Oxford -- Multi award-winning Oxford social enterprise brewery, bakery, and hospitality organisation Tap Social Movement (tapsocialmovement.com) has teamed up with Brewser (brewser.beer), the world's first direct-from-brewery subscription service, to distribute an exclusive collection of 10 new collaboration beers created to celebrate Tap Social's fifth-annual Change is Brewing indie beer festival, which takes place on Saturday, 6 June, from 2pm to 11pm at Tap Social's Oxford taproom industrial estate.
Exclusively available from Brewser from 25 May to 21 June, the Change is Brewing box features Tap Social collaborations with 10 of the UK's leading independent breweries. All breweries will serve a range of their own beers at the 6 June festival, with the collaboration beers also debuting on draught at the festival.
"Tap Social are doing something genuinely different. They've built a brewery and social enterprise around creating real employment and progression for people in prison and those recently released, and Change is Brewing is the moment of the year when that mission meets some of the best independent beer being made in the UK," says Oliver Morgan, Co-founder of Brewser.
Morgan continues: "The breweries involved in this box are there because of the respect Tap Social have earned across the indie beer world. That kind of lineup doesn't happen by accident. We started Brewser to get great independent beer to more people and to shine a light on the breweries making it. This collaboration is exactly the kind of thing we built Brewser for."
Now in its fifth year, Tap Social's Change is Brewing festival brings together a curated lineup of independent breweries from across the UK, along with a full day of live music, DJs, and street food. Buzzy East London post-punk queer disco band WIDGET headlines this year's music lineup, which also features Alto (indie rock), The Bobo (experimental electronica), Count Skylarkin (reggae/rocksteady DJ), Felix Ross (rising singer-songwriter), and DJ Molemann (funk).
"Change is Brewing is a labour of love and an event that our team looks forward to every year," says Brian Spencer, Tap Social's Marketing Manager. "We've had such a good time working with this year's guest breweries on these beers. I couldn't be more proud and excited to partner with Brewser and to get these delicious beers in the hands of its members. I hope they enjoy drinking them as much as we enjoyed making them."
