The Dial – Home of Meantime Opens on Greenwich Peninsula

ree

KG Hospitality and Meantime Brewing Company officially launched The Dial – Home of Meantime with a press and VIP event, marking a significant addition to Greenwich Peninsula’s hospitality and entertainment sector.

Greenwich local JLS star Marvin Humes, provided a live DJ set, with guests that included pub owner Jody Kidd, and tv presenter Lisa Snowden highlighting the venue’s high-profile positioning in London’s hospitality scene.

Created by KG Hospitality in partnership with the iconic Meantime Brewing Company, the venue’s centrepiece is a live microbrewery where fresh, small-batch beers are brewed on site for guests to enjoy.  Alongside this will be a lively restaurant, buzzing sports bar, live music venue, expansive outdoor terrace, with seating for around 240 guests and a panoramic rooftop 360° bar with spectacular views of London’s skyline. Guests can expect Meantime classics alongside brand-new experimental brews and limited-edition creations crafted onsite.

Exciting premium food is a major focus of the venue, featuring shareable dishes like Chicken Schnitzel Sandos and St. Louis Pork Ribs, bold, crowd-pleasing food made for good times and perfectly paired with Meantime’s craft beer innovations. On the terrace, lunch trucks will serve up street food-inspired dishes during the day and weekends. Behind the bar, cocktails will be an additional speciality, fresh, fun, and totally Instagram-ready.

Founded in Greenwich in 1999, Meantime Brewing Company was a pioneer of the UK craft beer movement. At The Dial – Home of Meantime, the brand returns to its roots while continuing to push the boundaries of modern brewing. The on-site microbrewery will produce a rotation of experimental brews, seasonal ales, and fan favourites such as Yakima Red. Permanently taps will feature the flagship Anytime IPA, supported by two new creations, Dial Lager Pilsner, and Midnight Stout, showcasing Meantime’s commitment to craft, innovation and quality. The first beers brewed on site will pour from early December.

“The Dial – Home of Meantime is all about community, location, and creating a space where people can eat, drink, watch sport, dance, and just enjoy life,” says Vineet Kalra, Founder of KG Hospitality. “Partnering with Meantime made it feel like the perfect match.”

Tim Clay, Managing Director of Asahi UK, said, “Pioneered in Greenwich, Meantime has been at the forefront of the UK's craft beer movement from the beginning. The Dial - Home of Meantime will use this heritage to encourage and inspire new drinkers to the category with its innovative beer styles and flavours. To be brewing Meantime beers in such an iconic location is testament to the brand’s future and our confidence in the hospitality industry.”

Laura Flanagan, Director, Greenwich Peninsula, adds: “The Dial – Home of Meantime is an exciting addition to our growing neighbourhood. It’s a hub for residents, visitors, and workers alike, offering food, drinks, live entertainment, and experiences that reflect the energy of Greenwich Peninsula.”

The Dial reflects current trends in experiential hospitality, combining multi-use spaces, craft-led drinks, premium dining, and live entertainment to create a versatile environment that supports strong operational performance, enhances guest engagement, and drives sustainable growth.
