Heartwood Collection, the award-winning hospitality group backed by Alchemy Partners, has invested over £250,000 in The King’s Head, Teddington giving the much-loved pub a fresh new look while retaining the character and charm that have made it a favourite in the local community.

Following an extensive refurbishment, The King’s Head welcomes guests back today from 5pm, unveiling refreshed interiors, new soft furnishings and enhanced outdoor spaces designed to maintain the pub’s role as a cherished local destination, led by well-known faces, a management team made up of General Manager Harriet Walker and Head Chef Florin Cujba.

Earlier this year, Heartwood embarked on a programme of investment across its existing pubs, reaffirming its commitment to the communities they serve.

“Our investment in our existing pubs reflects our long-term commitment to the communities we serve,” said Richard Ferrier, CEO of Heartwood Collection. “As we continue to grow, it’s equally important that we reinvest in our existing pubs to ensure they look beautiful, feel welcoming and continue delivering the high-quality food and hospitality our guests expect.”

The King’s Head now stands ready to continue its role as a vibrant hub for Teddington, bringing people together over great food, drink and a truly home-from-home experience as well as a programme of events and experiences throughout the week. From steak nights and quiz evenings to seasonal celebrations and games nights, The King’s Head is now set to offer even more reasons for the community to come together.

The reopening will also soon see the launch of The King’s Head’s Clothing Sale pop up, taking place Thursday 19th November from 5pm, in collaboration with Emma and Kate Pre-Loved and My Collected Wardrobe. Guests can browse the stalls and discover something special to take home.

Harriet Walker, General Manager of The King’s Head, said: “We can’t wait to welcome everyone back through the doors. We’ve given the pub a fresh, vibrant new look while preserving all the warmth, character, and quirky touches our regulars love. The local support throughout the refurb has been incredible, and we’re thrilled to finally share the finished space with the community and reintroduce them to their local.”

On reopening, guests can continue to enjoy The King’s Head seasonally changing menus, featuring ethically sourced ingredients and proudly aligned with Heartwood Collection’s three-star Sustainable Restaurant Association rating.
