The UK's Biggest Beer Festival and the UK's Biggest Keg Ecosystem Come Together

ekeg announced as Official Keg Partner of We Are Beer's London and Bristol Craft Beer Festivals 2026

We Are Beer, the UK's leading dedicated craft beer festival organiser, and ekeg, the UK and Ireland's leading keg and cask management ecosystem, today announce a landmark partnership. ekeg will serve as the Official Keg Partner of the London Craft Beer Festival and the Bristol Craft Beer Festival in 2026 — two of the most important dates in the British beer calendar.

Together, the two festivals will welcome over 30,000 beer lovers and industry visitors, pour close to 55,000 litres of beer, and move more than 2,500 kegs. It is, by any measure, a monumental logistical undertaking — and the natural home for the company redefining how the UK manages its kegs and casks.

ekeg provides renting, leasing, servicing and tracking solutions to over 600 customers daily, owns more than one million kegs and casks, and services close to four million kegs and casks every year. Their award-winning proprietary tracking technology monitors over 10 million keg and cask trips from brewery to bar and back again. The partnership with We Are Beer places that infrastructure at the heart of Britain's most celebrated public beer weekends.

“Partnering with We Are Beer is a statement of our ongoing commitment to draft beer. These festivals are where the industry and its consumers gather, where brewers pour their best work, and where tens of thousands of people meet their heroes and fall further in love with great beer. Being the draft ecosystem that underpins that, from brewery to each festival, is exactly what ekeg is built for. More draft, less carbon, and a lot of fun at We Are Beer.”

Christian Barden, CEO, ekeg

As Official Keg Partner, ekeg will be integrated across both festivals as the preferred keg and cask management partner, supporting the breweries taking part with logistical expertise and infrastructure.

“Ekeg’s support is a critical underpinning to the UK’s most important beer weekends. What we do at We Are Beer only works because of the brewers, and the brewers only flourish when the infrastructure around them does too. Ekeg are reshaping how kegs and casks are managed across this country — and we’re proud that the biggest consumer craft beer festivals are part of that story. This is a partnership with real substance, and we can’t wait to bring it to life in Bristol and London.”

Daniel Sylvester, Co-founder, We Are Beer

The partnership also carries a clear environmental dimension. ekeg’s ‘more draft, less carbon’ philosophy aligns directly with We Are Beer’s commitment to running responsible, forward-thinking festivals. By keeping kegs and casks in optimised circulation rather than single-use alternatives, the partnership actively reduces the carbon footprint of the beer being poured across both events.

The Bristol Craft Beer Festival takes place 12th–13th June at Lloyds Ampthitheatre, Bristol followed by the London Craft Beer Festival, 17th–18th July at Southwark Park. Tickets and further information are available at wearebeer.com.
