Exciting new chapter set to launch with reopening in the new year

Setchey, Norfolk, 10.9.25 – The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant is delighted to announce that work will begin at the end of this month on the complete rebuild of its kitchen, following the devastating fire that destroyed the kitchen last October.

After nearly a year of planning, preparation, and determination, the team is thrilled to see builders moving in to start construction on a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen. This investment marks a huge step toward reopening in the new year, with a fresh vision, a new menu, and plenty of exciting plans in the pipeline.

Daniel Clark, Director of The Warehouse, said:

“Last October’s fire was a huge blow to all of us, but from the start, we were determined to come back stronger. Seeing the rebuild finally begin is incredibly exciting – it feels like the start of a new chapter. We can’t wait to reopen in the new year with a fantastic kitchen and some amazing new experiences for our customers.”

Marketing Manager Amanda Waterfield added:

“This isn’t just about rebuilding what we lost – it’s about creating something even better. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on a brand-new menu and lots of exciting ideas to bring to life once we reopen. The support from the local community has been amazing, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back through our doors.”

The Warehouse Taproom, Bar & Restaurant forms part of The Warehouse Norfolk, a unique shopping and leisure destination. Alongside the bar — which reflects the extensive range of world beers and spirits available at Beers of Europe, Britain’s biggest beer shop – visitors can also explore The Warehouse Antiques & Collectables, home to over 120 dealers offering an eclectic mix of treasures. In addition, there are small gift shops on site, including a puzzle shop, soft toy store, and a pre-loved library, making The Warehouse Norfolk a must-visit destination with something for everyone.

The Warehouse Farmers & Craft Markets continue to take place on the first Saturday of every month, bringing together local produce, handmade crafts, and community spirit. This year, a series of Special Christmas Markets will also be held on Saturday 1st & 22nd November, Saturday 6th & 20th December, as well as two festive late-night Christmas Markets on Thursday 27th November and Thursday 11th December (3pm–8pm). Families can look forward to a very special visitor too – Santa will be joining the celebrations!

The Warehouse Norfolk will also shortly be hosting “Pumpkin Corner” for Halloween, with lots of lovely, different pumpkins to choose from – the perfect seasonal outing for families and autumn lovers alike.

With the rebuild underway, The Warehouse team is looking forward to writing the next chapter in its story – one filled with energy, innovation, and a warm welcome for all.

Stay tuned for updates on the build and details of the reopening celebrations coming in the new year.
