Tickets have launched today for the next edition of the Women in Beer® Awards and Seminar, taking place this October at Cloudwater Brew Co.’s Taproom.
Celebrating the newcomers, innovators, and leaders shaping the future of the beer industry, this two-day gathering is the perfect mix of networking, professional development, and recognising the women who make a difference.
The events form part of the Women in Beer® Festival from 20th - 24th October, with the launch event on Tuesday 20th October seeing the second Women in Beer® Awards ceremony take place from 6.30pm - 10pm at Cloudwater’s Taproom on Piccadilly Trading Estate.
Tickets can be bought here. Every ticket includes entry, a welcome drink, and nibbles, and to keep the event accessible, there are two ticket options:
Corporate tickets - for attendees whose company is covering the cost (this directly supports the organisation’s ongoing initiatives)
Pay-what-you-can - flexible pricing to make the event open to all
Celebrations continue on Wednesday 21st October, with the Women in Beer® Seminar, presented in partnership with the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA). Attendees can select from two options:
All day ticket - Starting at 10am, this includes an exclusive “On-flavour” workshop hosted by Natalya Watson, plus full access to the afternoon panels and a catered lunch
Afternoon ticket - Grants entry from 1.30pm to an afternoon of discussions and networking opportunities
The seminar panels and talks include topics such as:
Creating a Community: How to make an event or beer space unmissable
Silencing the Doubt: Overcoming imposter syndrome to help to achieve your goals
Real-World Impacts: How climate change is reshaping beer and brewing
Marketing insights and the full speaker programme will be announced later this month via the Women in Beer® socials.
Emma McClarkin OBE, Chief Executive of the BBPA, said:
“I couldn’t be prouder to be a sponsor of the Women in Beer® Awards as well as the Women in Beer® Seminar. Women were the original brewers and today they make up half of the sector’s workforce, so it’s only right they are recognised and celebrated. These awards will shine a much-needed light on those who are improving and evolving our sector. And furthermore, the Seminar offers an important opportunity to support career progression and foster connections for the impressive women who enrich the beer and pub sector.”
Due to venue capacity, tickets for both the awards night and the seminar are strictly limited. For full speaker announcements and updates, follow Women in Beer on social media or visit the official website at www.womeninbeer.co.uk.
