US Craft Beer Raises the Bar With Stellar Line-Up at London Craft Beer Festival

The Brewers Association, the not-for-profit trade association for small and independent American craft brewers, will be bringing its A-game to London Craft Beer Festival (LCBF), 18-19 July at Magazine, London with a spectacular line-up of UK-rare, high quality, sought-after American craft beers.

Some 22 American craft breweries will be showcased at this year’s festival, pouring 56 high-quality, style diverse, boundary pushing American craft beers.  Breweries participating include those new to the UK as well as established favourites.  Beers range in style, strength and flavour from light and crisp lagers to big and experimental barrel-aged imperial stouts and include creative sour and fruited sours, wild and spontaneously fermented beers, classic wheat beers and a plethora of show-stopping IPAs.  Audacious flavour combinations include blueberry crumble sour ale, peach lager made with real fruit and Bourbon Barrel-aged stout made with monster cookies, honey glazed coconut, a touch of peanut butter and candy-coated chocolates to tempt the tastebuds of even the most traditional beer drinker. Whether you’re a lager lover, a hophead or a simply want to experiment there’s a beer for everyone at this year’s festival.

Lotte Peplow, Brewers Association’s American Craft Beer Ambassador for Europe, comments: “The UK remains an important market for American craft beer exports and the third largest in the world accounting for 8.3% of all global exports.   Interest in the UK market remains high as shown by the number of American craft breweries travelling across from the States to explore export opportunities.  The Brewers Association’s stand at LCBF is a unique platform to highlight the quality, consistency and innovation of America’s small and independent brewers as well as their creativity, brewing expertise and boundary-pushing approach to flavour.   The range includes highly-rated, award-winning American craft beers that demonstrate exactly why American craft brewers are widely considered to be world leaders in their field.  Now in our fifth consecutive year at LCBF, we’re excited to unveil our new-look outdoor stand and share this year’s exceptional range of show-stopping beers.”
