Wiper and True Launches City-Wide “Birthday Safari” To Celebrate 10 Years of Its Flagship Pale Ale

Bristol-based independent craft brewery Wiper and True is celebrating a decade of its flagship pale ale, Kaleidoscope, with a city-wide “Birthday Safari” spanning 55 venues across Bristol.

Running from this week until 30 April 2026, the Kaleidoscope Birthday Safari invites beer lovers to explore the city’s pubs, bars, restaurants and independent shops in a unique, interactive trail.

Special Kaleidoscope posters have been installed across participating venues, each featuring its own bespoke QR code. Visitors can scan the codes at every stop to unlock exclusive, limited-edition birthday treats.

Participants who visit at least eight venues and complete the trail will reach the safari finish, collecting rewards along the way while discovering some of Bristol’s best-loved hospitality spots.

The campaign celebrates not only Kaleidoscope’s 10-year milestone, but also Wiper and True’s deep connection to the city’s independent venues and thriving beer culture.

First brewed ten years ago as an ever-evolving pale ale with changing hop combinations, Kaleidoscope has grown into one of Wiper and True’s most recognisable beers. Today, it features a signature blend of Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hops, delivering the bold, balanced flavour that has made it a firm favourite.

To mark the anniversary, Wiper and True has released two new limited-edition beers:

Kaleidoscope Bright (4.2% Lager) - A crisp, clear lager adaptation of the original, showcasing bright citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a clean, refreshing finish.

Kaleidoscope Twist (5.0% Fruited Pale Ale) - A hazy, fruit-forward pale ale bursting with citrus and tropical notes, finished with a juicy mango twist.

Both beers are available in limited quantities while stocks last.

With prizes to unlock, new beers to enjoy and dozens of venues to explore, the Kaleidoscope Birthday Safari offers a fresh way to experience Bristol’s beer scene. Keep an eye out for Kaleidoscope posters across the city, start scanning, and join Wiper and True in raising a glass to ten years of Kaleidoscope.
