Wonderwall Lager gets national Morrisons listing

Morrisons is to stock Wonderwall lager in its supermarkets nationwide from this week (w/c October 12) on an exclusive basis for 2026.
Sold in packs of 4x440ml cans with an RSP of £5, the 4% lager will have a prominent position on trade tables at the front of Morrisons stores.
The deal with Morrisons marks the biggest listing yet for Wonderwall lager, which is brewed for brand owner Sunlit Minds by Freedom Brewery. Crisp, clean and sessionable, it has a light straw colour and fully delivers on thirst quenching refreshment, while a distinctive red and white carton design with a vibrant paisley motif gives the brand strong standout.
While the listing coincides with the arrival of the documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger on the Disney+ streaming service, Sunlit Minds founder Jonny Kirkham says: “Wonderwall is a term that is carries different meanings to different people. It’s become entrenched in British film, music and football culture without people necessarily knowing its origin – the 1968 British film of the same name which George Harrison wrote the soundtrack for. That was Noel Gallagher’s inspiration, and it’s also our inspiration.
“We trademarked the Wonderwall name for a beer range some years ago as part of a planned series of beers inspired by cult films. Obviously, it’s a name that’s now right back at the forefront of popular culture.
“The core principle of Sunlit Minds is to create the kind of beers that people want to drink with their friends while listening to music, watching films, or just putting the world to rights. Wonderwall lager is exactly that – it celebrates our shared culture and brings people together.”
Morrisons Senior Trader for Craft Beer, Ales, Stout, and Cider, Harry Barker says: “Obviously, it’s great timing for us in terms of the appeal of the name. Wonderwall is a complementary fit with our overall beer range, and we expect it to be very popular.”
