After a year quietly maturing in bottle, the next mixed fermentation product is ready for release from Wiper and True’s Barrel Store. Brewed with elderflowers foraged from their own apple orchard, Abundance received the highest score (96/100) of any Wiper and True beer on record during objective internal quality control tests. The Wiltshire orchard where these elderflowers grow is managed via a low-intervention approach which allows the apples to develop naturally and slowly. The same methodology was applied to Abundance; the beer has spent almost a year quietly maturing in bottle while the naturally occurring yeasts from the orchard interact with the cultivated strain to create a complex crisp and nuanced Saison.

About Wiper and True
Wiper and True are an independent craft brewery based in St Werburghs, Bristol, focusing on creating refined, carefully considered beer. The business started life in 2012, with three friends creating homebrew beer on their kitchen stovetops. Over the next few years the friends produced beer nomadically, brewing at other breweries across the country, often over weekends or through the night. In 2015 Wiper and True built their own brewery in St Werburghs, Bristol, where they’ve been based ever since, growing into an additional premises down the road where they work with barrel aged beers and wild yeasts. During the global pandemic the brewery adapted to deliver beer from its online shop directly to customers across Bristol and beyond; a service which remains popular. In July 2022 the business will expand to a bespoke new brewery and taproom in Old Market, Bristol, whilst maintaining their presence in their St Werburghs home.
