Beer Writer and Masterchef demonstrates Beer & Cheese Pairing at Great British Food Festivals

Ben Bartlett, Member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and Masterchef of Great Britain brings an exclusive Beer & Cheese Pairing Class to stately homes across the country

Ben Bartlett has partnered with The Great British Food Festivals to bring an exclusive artisan beer and British cheese experience for the Great British public.

Beer and Cheese pairing is growing in popularity and craft beer especially is something many people want to know more about and enjoy. As a member of the British Guild of Beer writers, Ben Bartlett will be sharing his love of real ale and British cheese through a series of tastings and masterclasses.

The next food pairing takes place at Dalkeith Country Park, Dalkeith on Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th September with up to 50 people able to participate each day. This unique and exclusive beer and cheese pairing masterclass is part of your day entry to the entire event.

“My extremely popular food pairing masterclasses have been missed and include some of the best British craft beers and delicious British Artisan cheeses”.

Ben Bartlett is well-known for his culinary demonstrations and online cook along events, and he will also be demonstrating BBQ dishes from America, Australia, Sustainable Seafish and BBQ Boozy Desserts. The Beer and Cheese pairing is an extension to these immensely popular fun events. Ben says, “These festivals are a perfect day out for foodies and imbibers in a beautiful setting”.

These beer and cheese events have been featured in The Guardian, TimeOut, GQ, Daily Mirror, The Metro, and more. The Beer and Cheese pairing event is open to over 18s only.

Dalkeith Country Park, Midlothian

Dalkeith Country Park has been in the Buccleuch family for over 300 years and the site itself can be traced back to Roman times. The woodlands are hundreds of years old with some trees over 900 years of age. The architecture and designed landscape you see today are the result of changes by different generations of the Buccleuch family. Roe deer, otters, buzzards, foxes, badgers, hares and rabbits – they all call Dalkeith Country Park their home. You might just be lucky enough to spot some of them as you head off on your Dalkeith adventure with a keen eye and just a little patience. With free carparking sorted for you, we from the Great British Food festival will be right in the midst of this beautiful Country Park.

Tickets

Due to restrictions all tickets must be bought in advance online, but rest assured the health and safety of visitors is the number one priority. This event will have restricted capacity so pre booking is essential. Please visit: https://greatbritishfoodfestival.com/dalkeith-country-park
