Birrificio Angelo Poretti launches ‘La Grand Tavola’ series of summer events in the UK

Elevating mealtimes for over 140 years, Poretti has curated an unforgettable dining experience that will see diners gather round the table in three UK locales this summer

Birrificio Angelo Poretti brings a taste of Italy to the UK with its ‘La Grande Tavola’ series. Set to arrive in three UK locales this summer, the beautifully tablescaped events will see guests gather round long tables for an exquisite menu, curated to perfectly pair with Poretti for an idyllic dining experience.

La Grande Tavola encourages a summer of premium, elevated Italian dining in some of the UK’s favourite hotspots. Working with well-known chefs and tastemakers to ensure this experience is taken to new heights, La Grande Tavola will be a bookable event for consumers in Cornwall, London and Manchester. Diners can envision a thoughtfully decorated table as they tuck into Italian classics, accompanied by a refreshing glass of Poretti served from the brand’s signature carafe.

La Grande Tavola dates include:

  • Thursday 20 Jul – Cornwall

  • Sunday 30 Jul – London

  • Sunday 20 Aug – Cornwall

  • Saturday 26 Aug – Manchester

La Grande Tavola kicks off in Portscatho, Cornwall. Poretti will be partnering with renowned chef Simon Stallard’s The Standard Inn to curate an impeccable menu utilising seasonal ingredients pair perfectly with its eponymous beer. The two summer dates allow for a leisurely weekday and Sunday lunch by the Cornish sea at £60pp. More information to come.

La Grande Tavola’s second pop up occurs in Museum of the Home, Shoreditch; promising Londoners an experience like no other. In partnership with food extraordinaires MOB, the table will seat up to 100 people across three sessions which will be available to book via Eventbrite at £29.99 + booking fee. The slots are at 12.30pm-2.30pm, 4pm-6pm and 7:30pm-9:30pm. Links below.

Poretti has worked closely with Jordon Ezra King from MOB to ensure consumers can indulge in an authentic three-course Italian menu that pairs perfectly with Poretti. Birrificio Angelo Poretti has been brewed specifically with food in mind and it is here to reclaim its rightful place at the dining table. With a similar ethos, Poretti has naturally partnered MOB to bring consumers the food experience of a lifetime.

The final Grande Tavola will pop up at the UK’s largest, most exciting and vibrant festival of Italian food, drink and culture, Manchester’s Festa Italiana from 25th to 27th August. Poretti’s Grande Tavola sits within the festival where guests can enjoy a delicious sit-down meal with a menu that has been curated by the renowned Salvi’s. Fresh glasses of Poretti will be on draught via the brand’s iconic airstream to complement the meal. This experience is a ticketed event on Saturday 26th August and the area is then open to all on Sunday 27th August, where festival goers can gather, grab a Poretti and dine with their favourite food from the festival vendors. More information to come.

Birrificio Angelo Poretti has been produced in Valganna for over 140 years and brewed specifically to enhance dining moments. The lager delivers an exceptional experience as it contrasts, complements and cuts through world cuisines beautifully. La Grande Tavola echoes the importance of mealtimes as people gather around a table to spend quality time with loved ones.
