Hand crafted real ale producer, Box Steam Brewery has announced the appointment of David Southway as their new Sales Director. David joins the Brewery to head up the sales team in order to really drive sales forward and to allow the brewery to capitalize on its recent national success with the distribution of its award winning craft ales.
With a career spanning 30 years’ experience in the hospitality and drinks industry, David joins Box Steam Brewery from Carlsberg UK where he was the Sales Director for the South & South West for eight years. He has also held titles including Senior National Account Manager at King UK Ltd, Free Trade Business Development Executive at Allied Domecq Breweries and Sales and Brand Development Manager at Dalebrook Supplies.
Niall Thomas, General Manager of Box Steam Brewery, spoke about the appointment: “It is an exciting time to be joining Box Steam Brewery as we are making real headway with developing and promoting our brand in the UK drinks industry.
