South West London brewer continues to grow to meet wider demand
Wimbledon Brewery has installed two new 60 barrel fermenters in its premises in SW19. This will effectively double its brewing capacity and is the second such expansion in under two years. Each new fermenter holds the equivalent of 17,000 pints.
Since it started production in July 2015, Wimbledon Brewery has steadily built a well-earned reputation for its range of balanced beers made by Master Brewer Derek Prentice and his team. Its beers are available in a wide range of pubs, bars, off licences and restaurants across London and in M&S food stores.
Mark Gordon, Founder of the Wimbledon Brewery, says
“The new fermenters allow us to step up our production to 5 brews a week, which is needed to meet the increased demand from our growing customer base across the UK. We will also have some capacity to test the waters internationally before the year is out.”
The Wimbledon Brewery range comprises
Bottles:
Quartermaine IPA 6.2%
Tower Pale Ale 5%
Gold Lager %
Can:
Bravo American Pale Ale 5.5%
Copper American Red Ale 4.5%
