Brewers Association brings a-game to beer & food attraction, Italy, 19-22 February 2023

The Brewers Association, the not-for-profit trade association representing small and independent American craft brewers, will be making an impact at Beer & Food Attraction, Rimini this year by showcasing a diverse range of world-class quality, innovative and creative American craft beers, many of which are recent award-winners of prestigious international beer competitions.

Exhibiting for the third time at the Show, the Brewers Association Export Development Program will represent 12 American craft breweries and will be joined by six brewery owners/representatives who have travelled over from the States to explore the Italian market.

In addition to a large booth presence, the Brewers Association and participating brewery representatives will lead an American craft beer Masterclasses to demonstrate the quality, style-diversity and innovation of American craft beer as follows:

Location:  Beer & Tech Arena (located between pavilions A7/C7)

Date and time: Sunday 19 February 11:45-12:15

Participating American craft breweries and their representatives include:

903 Brewing Co + Jeremy and Natalie Roberts, co-owners

Cigar City Brewing + Jesse Kercheval, international sales manager

Coronado Brewing Co

Destihl Brewery

Heavy Riff Brewing Co +  Mike Zahra

Oskar Blues Brewery

Paradox Brewery + Devon Hamilton, director of operations

Port City Brewing Co + Tim Quintyn, tasting room general manager

Approximately 37 different American craft beers will be available for sampling in can or bottle format and range from well-made, award-winning classic styles to ground-breaking and highly innovative new taste adventures such as a white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake Berliner Weisse.  Some beers are already in-market, others will be making their Italian debut.  All beers will showcase the quality and innovation for which American craft brewers are renowned, a fact that is borne out by the number of top honours they win at prestigious international beer competitions.  In the last three most recent competitions American craft beers won 85 medals between them.

Lotte Peplow, Brewers Association’s American Craft Beer Ambassador for Europe, comments: “Europe is the second biggest export market behind Canada for American craft beer and  Beer & Food Attraction presents an important opportunity for Italian importers, distributors and HORECA channels to sample and discuss the very latest in flavour, brewing techniques and innovation.  Our range of diverse, top quality, creative beers is intended to stimulate interest in the Italian market and drive opportunities for both brewery members and HORECA members alike.   We are delighted to return to the Show after a two-year pandemic induced hiatus and we are looking forward to welcoming all visitors to our booth.”
