BREWERS ASSOCIATION RETURNS TO BEER ATTRACTION, ITALY

The Brewers Association, the not-for-profit trade association representing small and independent American craft brewers, will be exhibiting a diverse range of high quality, innovative and full-flavoured American craft beers at Beer & Food Attraction, Rimini, 15-18th February 2020.

In addition to a large booth presence, the Brewers Association will be partaking in numerous beer and food pairing demonstrations and Masterclass tastings on American craft beer to demonstrate its world-class quality.

In its second consecutive year of attendance at Beer Attraction, the Brewers Association’s Export Development Programme will be representing 14 American craft breweries and will be joined by American craft brewers or brewery owners themselves who will be making the journey over from the States.  To date, participating breweries include:

Bootlegger’s Brewery

Coronado Brewing Co

Denver Beer Co

Deschutes Brewing Co

Epic Brewing Co

Great Divide Brewing Co

Port City Brewing Co

Rogue Ales

Ska Brewing Co

Straight to Ale Brands

The Bronx Brewery

The Virginia Beer Co

Approximately 47 different American craft beers will be available for sampling in can or bottle format and range from well-made classic styles to exciting and highly creative new iterations such as a triple black IPA, limited edition sour releases and a porter made with Graham Crackers!  All beers showcase the experimentation and innovation for which American craft brewers are renowned and will be air-freighted across the Atlantic to preserve freshness and flavour.

Beer Atttraction, now in its sixth year, is an international fair dedicated to craft beer, food and beverages for the HORECA channels.  In addition to showcasing a comprehensive range of international beers and drinks, the event’s Food Attraction show is dedicated to presenting food specialities matched with beer.  The Brewers Association will be hosting the following events:

1.00-2.00pm, Saturday 15th February: beer and food demonstration with CAST school

12-00 – 1.00pm, Sunday 16th February: beer and food demonstration led by Adam Dulye, Executive Chef of the Brewers Association and participating American craft brewers

Bob Pease, CEO/President for the Brewers Association, comments: “Beer Attraction presents an ideal opportunity for members of our Export Development Programme to meet with importers, distributors and HORECA industry personnel to further explore opportunities for developing American craft beer in Italy.  American craft beer is renowned for quality the world over and this fact is borne out by the number of medals and top honours it wins at high profile international beer competitions.   By showcasing a large range of diverse and exciting American craft beers we hope to educate, inform and stimulate interest in the Italian market.”
