The New World Trading Company have partnered with award-winning Budweiser Budvar UK to launch their first Tankové Pivo site in Sheffield.
The newly opened The Botanist in Sheffield is the 10th Botanist site and is the first site to open under the new ownership of Graphite Capital. The site boasts the concepts usual broad, well-ranged drinks mix including botanical cocktails, gins, and now for the first time in Sheffield Tankové Pivo will be served alongside their vast range of other beers.
Sipping Budweiser Budvar unpasteurised Tankové Pivo is the shortest way from the hallowed cellars of the brewery in the Czech Republic to the drinkers’ glass in The Botanist. This is the first time a Czech beer will be served direct from tanks in Sheffield. The New World Trading Company and Budweiser Budvar are looking forward to bringing this first to Sheffield.

Budweiser Budvar is brewed in the Bohemian town of České Budějovice and is wholly owned by the people of the Czech Republic and brewing exceptional lager something of a matter of National Pride. Budweiser Budvar celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2015 but the town itself has a history of brewing for over 700 years.
Budweiser Budvar Original and Tankové Pivo are brewed and conditioned for a total of 102 days, 7 times longer than most other beers. This no short cuts attitude to brewing is owed to the fact that the brewery is run by brewers, not accountants.
Budweiser Budvar Tankové Pivo 5%, translated as Tank Beer, is delivered fresh and unpasteurised direct from the award winning cellars of the Czech Republic.
The first Budweiser Budvar Tankové Pivo site was launched in November 2014 at Zigrfrid von Underbelly of Hoxton Square. Other sites include; MeatLiquor N1, London, The Oast House Spinningfields Manchester and The Viking, Wirral.
The Botanist forms part of The New World Trading Company who recently celebrated a double win at The Publican Awards national ceremony, securing Best Employer and Best Managed Operator (2-50 sites).
