Butcombe provides BII membership for tenant pubs

Butcombe Brewing Company will offer all their pub tenants and lessees subsidised annual membership of the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII).

The British Institute of Innkeepers is the professional body representing individuals working across the licensed hospitality industry.

Butcombe have negotiated BII membership to be supplied initially to all of their UK tenants with the view to roll out membership to the wider Liberation Group’s pubs in Channel Islands.

Membership of the organisation will provide Butcombe’s tenants with further expert and independent business advice and 24-hour HR or general legal support over and above that which Butcombe already provides. The tenants will also have access to the BII’s network of partners who can provide significant savings on products such as insurance, energy bills, and credit/debit card machines.

The British Institute of Innkeepers also provides Butcombe’s tenants with access to an employment contracts builder, business calculators and planning tools, a food app and access to their eLearning platform.

Jayson Perfect, Managing Director of UK pubs at Butcombe Brewing Co. said: “By providing our tenants and lessees with subsidised membership of the British Institute of Innkeepers, we can ensure they receive independent professional advice and assistance when they need it. Providing support to our tenants is very important to us and we felt that the BII provides an additional valuable service that will enable and help our tenants to build better businesses.”
