North London brewery launches in the Big Apple
07 December 2016: Camden Town Brewery is taking its flagship Hells lager across the pond to New York City this month, as the north London brewery continues its mission to bring great beer to more people.
New York¹s nightlife scene makes it the perfect place for Camden Town Brewery to launch stateside. From this week, New Yorkers will be able to enjoy a cold pint of Hells from a range of popular bars and restaurants, including The Fat Radish, Sons of Essex and The Spotted Pig.
The launch follows significant investment into Camden Town Brewery by the High End division of global brewing company, Anheuser-Busch InBev. This has not only enabled the Camden team to launch into new markets, but also build a brand new purpose-built brewery in Enfield, north-east London. The new brewery represents the largest investment into London¹s brewing industry for 30 years.
Jasper Cuppaidge, founder and CEO of Camden Town Brewery, said: ³We¹ve always been inspired by New York it¹s a buzzing city filled with incredible places to eat and drink, so it felt like the right place to launch Camden into the US. We¹re introducing our Camden Hells lager into around 40 New York initially but have big plans for further launches across the US and beyond. It¹s a killer British lager, which we think drinkers across the world will love.²
Camden Hells will rack up additional passport stamps as it launches in Paris early next year, with additional market extensions planned from there.
