Commenting on the news that the Scottish Parliament has approved the appointment of an Adjudicator for a Tied Pubs Code, CAMRA Scotland Director Stuart McMahon said:
“After the tedious failed legal challenges by pub companies and global brewers, CAMRA is delighted that the Scottish Parliament is now getting on with implementing the Tied Pubs Code and Adjudicator.
“Consumers and tied tenants across Scotland will welcome this news, which will help boost pub tenant’s rights and consumer choice at the bar. We look forward to working with the Scottish Government to shape the details of the Code over the coming months.”
