CELEBRATE THE END OF DRY JANUARY WITH THE BEST CRAFT BEER IN THE UK

Ten breweries plus Honest Brew, Oliver’s Cider, Sandows Coffee and Square Root Soda set to offer a fantastic day!

 

Stoke Newington Beer Fest is set to host eleven amazing UK breweries as they showcase the best beers that they have to offer. Featuring Solvay Society, an Ilford based brewery specializing in Belgian Styles; Elusive Brewing, a brewery that has won countless awards and certainly produced the best beer of Stokey Beer ‘17; Verdant, a brewery producing the best hoppy pale ales in the UK; Moncada Brewery, a brewery who have been going for more than 16 years in Notting Hill and who will be bringing some fantastic specials for the festival well as Seven Sisters Brewery, Villages, Hammerton, Unity, Affinity and Earth Ale who will be bringing a range of interesting beers including a honey and thyme saison and a Lemon Verbana Pale Ale.

 

The breweries will also be joined by producer of the best Cider in the UK, Oliver’s Cider; producers of exquisite nitro cold brew coffee, Sandows; producers of the freshest seasonal sodas in London, Square Root Soda and the best beer delivery site around, Honest Brew who will be curating some of Europe’s best breweries for their bar.

 

The festival will be taking place in the historic Abney Hall, Church St, Stoke Newington on 17th – 18th February 2018. There are four sessions:

 

Saturday Afternoon – 12pm to 5pm

Saturday Evening – 6pm to 11pm

Sunday Afternoon – 11am to 4pm

Sunday Evening – 5pm to 10pm

 

All ticket options get you entry, a branded festival glass, a can of the Festival Beer ‘Extra Stokey Bitter’ and a 1/3-pint from each of the producers. ‘Extra Stokey Bitter’ is based on a crowd-sourced recipe that was brewed for Stokey Beer Fest 2017 – we’re really excited to be bringing it back this time in canned form.

Stoke Newington Beer Fest 2018 is a chance for the discerning beer drinkers of North London to discover the great new up and coming breweries that are about to make it big and to taste some really special beers that are being made just for the festival. “The line-up at this year’s festival really is astounding.” says Julio Santoyo, brewer at Seven Sisters Brewery, “The standard of beer is going to be fantastic and the specials are really something to be excited about.”

Seven Sisters Brewery is a growing brewery currently based in Bermondsey who produce a range of delicious and innovative beers for the London craft beer market. After a few years home-brewing in a one-bed flat in North London they started selling their beer commercially in January 2016. They are available in select bottle shops, restaurants and bars.
