CLUB SODA’s 10th MINDFUL DRINKING FESTIVAL

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2022
10am – 5pm
The Open Market
Brighton, BN1 4JU

What is Club Soda?

We are a Mindful Drinking Movement – we are a social impact B Corp business with the mission to help people drink more mindfully and Live Well. We run behaviour change courses to help people drink more mindfully, have written a book on How to Be A Mindful Drinker and run festivals, pop-up shops and a podcast to support people. We work with local authorities, drinks brands, individuals and drug and alcohol providers across the UK.

What is happening in Brighton?

The free-to-attend festival is happening at Brighton’s famous Open Market; international drinks companies Lyre’s Spirits, Noughty Wines, Heineken 0.0 Beer and mixer brand Double Dutch are sponsors, joining over 40 Low & No alcohol brands exhibiting at the event. Visitors to the event will be treated to:

– Opportunities to try a wide range of low and no alcohol drinks, including Low & No alternatives to cocktails, beers, and spirits

– Cocktail masterclasses, beer tastings and drink talks with local experts

– Inspirational talks and panels with influencers and experts on changing drinking habits and boosting wellbeing

Speakers and drink masterclasses

Panels and speakers are being hosted in Presuming Eds, next to the market. Keynote speakers include comedian Rosie Wilby, author of The Breakup Monologues, US-based author and psychotherapist Veronica Valli, of the Soberful Podcast, and Dru Jaeger, author of How to Be A Mindful Drinker. In addition, drink Masterclasses will be led by experts, including BBC Radio Sussex’s drinks reviewer Jane Peyton and local beer writer Emma Inch.

Want to be involved?

If you want to be on a panel or be involved in any other way, then let me know, and we can look to add you to the programme.

How you can help:

We have a resource pack of easy-to-print and produce posters, social posts, emails etc here:
