We are pleased to announce that once Covid restrictions are lifted we will be opening The Warehouse Taproom Bar Restaurant!
Our converted warehouse will offer a warm and inviting environment with a friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
With the very best of traditional and modern cuisine, our fresh menu will be regularly updated and we will use the finest seasonal ingredients from local suppliers where possible. The menu will also include delicious pizzas which will also be available as take away.
Restaurant Manager Hattie Bye says “‘I can’t wait to open our doors to the public inviting you all into the unique and homely setting that is The Warehouse, even now I still walk in and spot something new! Currently, we’re putting together our team from chefs to front of house, our focus will always be on amazing locally sourced food with brilliant customer service.
Not forgetting the incredible taproom it’s a window to a whole different world, it’s not just for those who are brewery followers it’s for newcomers too, it’ll be very much ‘try in here and buy in there’.
It’s so exciting that we’ll take you around the world with our food and drink all while on your staycation or stopping in on your way home.’
The bar will be the heart of the business where we will showcase the best drinks from around the world, as you would expect, as well as serving a huge range of bottled beers we will be serving ales direct from cask from our dedicated temperature-controlled cask room, the bar will also feature a tap wall for draught products and a fantastic range of spirits. All though we are located in Setchey Nr King’s Lynn the selection will be more city-center bar than village pub.

We believe we will be in a unique position in the market as not only will be able to showcase a fantastic range of craft beers in bottle and on draught we can also offer great local ales served direct from the cask, as well as beers we will have a great range of unusual spirits, the restaurant will be serving great locally sourced food and we feel this will really compliment the businesses we already have here and will complete the shopping experience”
Beers of Europe
The jewel in our crown and the reason our expansion is possible, Beers of Europe celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2020. A year that should have been spent celebrating instead became a somber experience but the support we had from customers was outstanding and gave us the opportunity and motivation to push on with our renovation and restaurant while the shop remained closed to customers.
Since opening back in 2000 the company has been a family-run establishment, starting with only one hundred beers from Belgium and Germany. From there the scale of the business has grown to accommodate multiple businesses on-site, and watching our Mecca go from strength to strength after having plans to expand for several years is a blessing. Currently listing around 2000 beers and 2000 spirits of all varieties, as well as a number of ciders and wines, Beers of Europe, has the largest selection in the UK.
Our already established connections with hundreds of Breweries, Distilleries and Suppliers all over the UK and on the continent put us in good stead to be able to keep the Bar and Taproom ticking over with consistently good quality lines alongside our usual orders for bottles and cans for the shop and website. Conveniently placed in the same building as the Warehouse Bar and Taproom, customers will be more than welcome to take a break from buying beer to drink beer.
The Warehouse Antiques & Collectables
The Warehouse Antiques opened in November 2017 having recently been converted from a dusty warehouse to a spacious, bright, and airy showroom spanning 15,000 square feet, with room to display up to 150 dealers’ collections through a combination of floor and cabinet space.
The Antique shop offers the largest selection of antiques and collectables in East Anglia both high quality and affordable with an experienced team of antique specialists on hand to answer all your questions and give collectors the best value possible.
The antique shop is a fantastic place to find any of the following items: retro, antique furniture, shabby-chic, coins, militaria, model cars, vintage items, books, stamps, ceramics, vinyl records, artwork, medals, glassware, bygones, and more from a range of periods including antiques from the Art Deco, Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian periods.
Whether you are looking for traditional country home inspiration or a modern contemporary look, there is a range of items to meet your requirements. The stock is constantly changing, with new stock arriving daily.
The Warehouse Bookshop
The bookshop is brimming with pre-loved books of all genres, the perfect place to find that special book, a novel, or bestseller, a great place to pick up a holiday read!
Celebrating all things books, browse through the shelves at your leisure filled with a large selection of rare and antiquarian to non-fiction, fiction and children’s books. The shop regularly has collectors’ items and sets. It’s a popular place and is run by a great friendly team, who are dedicated to making the bookshop a special place for all.
Pick up a book then pop over to the bar for a relaxing read and drink… perfect!
The Steiff Toy Shop
The Steiff Shop is located onsite, tucked inside of The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables, and is the largest Steiff shop in East Anglia.
Steiff cuddly toys are the most famous teddy bears in the world and The Steiff brand has been around for 140 years. Why not drop-in and browse the extensive range, as an official Steiff stockist, there are over 500 different Steiff bears and animals to choose from – from keyrings to jumbo size and replicas to limited editions, something for all ages!
