Commencing Countdown… Ground Control Coffee Porter 4.5%

Announcing the launch of a fabulous new collaborative beer from Bedlam Brewery and Craft House Coffee.

Environmental and socially responsible Sussex producers Bedlam Brewery and Craft House Coffee have collaborated to brew a beer.  For both there’s an obvious passion to create the best possible “brew” using only the finest quality ingredients. With an understanding of the origins, the producers, and ingredients they both work with, there’s no compromise on quality. It’s natural these two businesses would take such pleasure in coming together on a project like this.

“They do beer, we do coffee” says Tom Larkins at Craft House Coffee, “both of us have a passion for the environment and both of us work, so close to each other on a farm in the heart of Sussex!”

After much talking, steeping and coffee tasting, Head Brewer, Clark, chose their single origin Brazilian Fazenda Primavera coffee and GROUND CONTROL was born “We chose the coffee as it wasn’t a typical coffee you’d throw into a Porter.  It was very unique in its flavour providing subtle notes of black forest gateau and fleshy fruits. The deep flavours are a perfect match!”

Why Ground Control?

“For those who follow us you’ll know we have a great love of music (and Bowie) and extend our support to the arts and music scene throughout Sussex.” Says Clark, who not only brews delicious beer but was also a professional Bass Player. “Currently Moonage Daydream is a cinematic treat for Bowie fans and so we had to give a nod to the great man himself!”

Commencing countdown…
