Commission a beer or cider communicator for your next project

The British Guild of Beer Writers has made it easier than ever for publications and businesses to find and commission beer and cider communicators for paid opportunities.

The Guild’s membership is made up of the most prominent and celebrated beer and cider communicators in the UK – journalists, authors, content producers, photographers, illustrators, and comms professionals.

Organisations can invite pitches for their publication or share paid job and freelance opportunities by sharing a free listing at https://www.beerguild.co.uk/commission-a-guild-member

New opportunities will then appear on the organisation’s website and be sent straight to the inbox of each member via the Guild’s daily newsletter, helping them target professionals within the sector.

The British Guild of Beer Writers Chairman Emma Inch said: “Our membership is made up of dedicated, professional beer and cider communicators who know the industry inside and out and who work across a wide range of disciplines, mediums, and subject matters. Every new member is asked to provide examples of work which are reviewed by an independent panel to ensure they meet the Guild’s high standards. This means it is easier than ever to tailor your search to find a paid professional to take on your next project.

“Many of our members are award-winning, and we look forward to recognising excellence in beer and cider communication at our awards evening in December – a real opportunity to celebrate the cream of the crop in beer and cider communications!”

Commission editors are also welcomed to search the British Guild of Beer Writers member directory, where they can search specifically for members and filter by region, occupation, membership to industry organisations, brewing qualifications and areas of expertise.
