Damm Annual Results – UK Sales and Volume Up 19% for Damm UK

Damm reports €2bn revenue as UK expansion and international growth drive performance

• International operations account for 30% of business following launch of first production facility in Africa and UK acquisition agreement of Old Speckled Hen

• Nestea addition strengthens Damm's diversification strategy to position it as a full-service beverage manufacturer

• In its 150th anniversary, Damm initiates a new phase of growth with the aim of doubling revenue by 2030

At its AGM in Barcelona this week Damm reported that it ended 2025 with a revenue of €2.01 billion, EBITDA of €32 million and net profit of €155 million, despite operating in an increasingly challenging market environment.

International strategy remains one of Damm's key growth drivers. The company's brands are now present in more than 130 countries, with proprietary-brand exports reaching 88 markets. In 2025, international operations continued to grow and now represent 30% of Damm's overall business.

As part of its international strategy, Damm launched a new soft drinks production facility in Dakar, Senegal – the company's first manufacturing site in Africa. The facility will supply customers across Senegal and neighbouring West African markets while supporting future expansion across the region.

In the UK, one of Damm's strategic growth markets, the business strengthened its commitment to the market through an agreement to acquire the Old Speckled Hen family of brands, one of the country's most recognised premium ale portfolios. The acquisition expands Damm's presence in a category with deep roots in the British market and supports its long-term growth ambitions in the UK.

The move builds on the continued development of The Damm Eagle Brewery in Bedford, where Damm has invested more than €80 million (£70 million) in recent years to increase production capacity, introduce new manufacturing lines and increase capabilities in alcohol-free beverages and soft drinks.

Demetrio Carceller Arce, Executive Chairman of Damm, said: "Our international strategy focus is to get closer to the markets in which we operate, increase our ability to produce locally and respond more effectively to the needs of customers and consumers. Establishing our first manufacturing operation in Africa is a significant step forward in that journey and together with the strengthening of our UK business, reinforces a growth model that is more local, more agile and adapted to each market."

Luke White, Managing Director of Damm UK adds: "2025 was a great year for Damm UK, as we delivered strong growth, with both sales and volume up 19%. Furthermore, we grew our private label and contract manufacturing business by 34%. We also created 40 new jobs.

This solid business performance demonstrates the strength of our successful UK strategy, following sustained investment in the Damm Eagle Brewery which has seen the rise of Estrella Damm and our wider portfolio, as well as driving industry awareness around Damm UK. This has given us the platform to make bigger strategic moves to accelerate our growth, such as evolving our portfolio with the acquisition of Old Speckled Hen - set to complete 1 July - cementing Damm UK position as the largest independent brewer in the UK market."

During 2025, Damm sold 22 million hectolitres of beverages across its beer, water and soft drinks portfolio with Damm UK accounting for 578,000 hectolitres of that – 19% more than last year for Damm UK.

Damm has listened to consumer demand and strengthened its responsiveness in both domestic and international markets, with a €65 million investment throughout the year to expand and modernise its manufacturing capabilities, with a particular focus on returnable packaging and dispensing systems.

Damm also invested €14 million in research, development and innovation, product development and digital transformation initiatives.

The company employed 6,393 people at the end of 2025, representing 10.9% growth compared with the previous year. This increase was driven primarily by expansion in international markets including the UK, Portugal and China.

As Damm celebrates its 150th anniversary, the company is entering a new phase of growth with the aim of doubling revenue by 2030.

The strategy builds on the success of Damm's existing business model while focusing on the areas that will allow the company to stay relevant, scale up and yet remain adaptable in the years ahead.

Carceller Arce added: "In this, our 150th anniversary year, Damm is celebrating that as a business it has successfully grown, diversified and adapted while remaining true to its identity. As we look to 2030, our focus will be on strengthening our brands, expanding into new opportunities across food and beverage, and growing our international presence further. We will continue to plan long term across our pillars of people, innovation and with operational excellence at the heart of our future."

The strategy prioritises growth for Damm's beer brands both domestically and internationally, while continuing to diversify the company's portfolio and strengthen its position as a global food and beverage group.

Key priorities include expansion into new categories, increasing relevance across more consumption occasions and responding more effectively to changing consumer preferences. International growth will remain a central pillar of the strategy, supported by greater use of data and artificial intelligence, continuous improvement across manufacturing, logistics and commercial operations, investment in young talent and an ongoing commitment to sustainability.

During 2025, Damm expanded its presence in the Spanish drinks market through the addition of Nestea to its portfolio.

Under an agreement with Nestlé, Damm now manufactures, markets and distributes the brand across Spain, Andorra, Gibraltar and Portugal, strengthening its position within the non-carbonated soft drinks category.

As Spain's leading iced tea brand, Nestea complements Damm's existing non-alcoholic drinks portfolio and provides exposure to a category with strong growth potential.

As part of this development, Damm has expanded the brand with new product launches designed to meet evolving consumer preferences, including Nestea Red Fruits & Açaí and Sugar-Free Passion Fruit Green Tea, reinforcing the brand's focus on distinctive flavours, refreshing taste profiles and innovation-led growth.

The expansion of Damm's beverage portfolio forms part of the company's broader diversification strategy, which seeks opportunities in complementary categories to broaden consumption occasions and strengthen its proposition across both retail and hospitality channels.
