Duration Brewing to launch Duck Series at over 30 UK venues this November

Norfolk farmhouse brewery brings its four-strong family of beers including its fastest-selling cask beer, to independent venues from Glasgow to Bristol.
Norfolk's Duration Brewing is bringing its Duck Series to over 30 independent pubs, bars and bottle shops across the UK from Friday 6 November to Sunday 8 November, for a national launch weekend called Ducks in a Row. Drinkers from Glasgow to Bristol will have the chance to explore the four-strong family of beers, from Rubber Ducky, a 4.4% pale ale served on cask at selected venues, to Eider, a bold 8% double IPA.
The Duck Series began in March 2024 with Mallard, a 6% New England IPA that quickly sold out. Teal, a 5.4% double dry-hopped pale ale, followed that August, both fast became the breweries highest ranked beers (on Untappd). Eider, Duration's first solo double IPA, joined in 2025, alongside Rubber Ducky, the first Duck release brewed solely for cask, which has since become the brewery's fastest-selling cask beer.
"Mallard was one of the first beers I got to develop at Duration," said Andy Arkley, Production Manager. "I originally designed the recipe as a homebrewer and always loved the Citra and Azacca hop combination, so brewing it at scale was pretty special. It went down so well that I was asked to build a whole Duck Series around it.”
"I've always loved brewing really hoppy, juicy beers, and the series became a way to explore these popular styles using different ingredients and techniques. Revisiting them each year lets us build on them, making each version better than the last."
Participating venues include Hand and Marigold in London, Cambridge Blue in Cambridge, That Beer Place in Chester and Small Bar in Bristol, alongside Yalm and Hop Rocket in Norwich and Duration's own taproom at Abbey Farm in West Acre. Independent bottle shops are also joining the flock, including Wee Beer Shop in Glasgow and Epicurean in Manchester.

NOTES TO EDITORS
About Duration Brewing
Founded in 2019 by Derek Bates and Miranda Hudson, Duration is an award-winning, family-run farmhouse brewery and taproom at Abbey Farm in West Acre, Norfolk. Brewing from a beautifully restored barn in a custom-built Bavarian brewhouse, Duration makes balanced, flavourful beers that reflect both its rural surroundings and a curiosity for brewing tradition and innovation. Its range spans fresh, hop-forward pales and lagers through to barrel-aged and mixed-fermentation ales, with a focus on quality, drinkability and a thoughtful approach to the environment.
In 2026, Duration was named Brewery of the Year at the Brewers Choice Awards, where its pale ale Where The Buffalo Roam also won New Beer of the Year.
Rooted in its surroundings, Duration's philosophy is simple: to make Beers That Belong – to brew good beer, with good people, in a way that respects where we are.
