Our international and highly respected judging panel has identified the best beers in each of the eight categories of the annual World Beer Awards. With over 1000 beers from more than 30 countries entered into this year’s awards, judges blind tasted and scored the entries over four rounds of judging. The final two rounds were held in London, where 50 international brewers, industry experts and journalists tasted and voted on the World’s Best Beers before the 2015 Country Winners were announced. We are delighted to announce that judges named Fish Tale Ales – Beyond the Pale – as the World’s Best Beer.
Adrian Tierney-Jones, European Chairman of the World Beer Awards said: “After four arduous rounds of beer tasting and evaluating the merits of beers from all over the world I’m very pleased to see the results of our hard labours – the spread of winners shows the quality of entries from all over the world. These beers managed to please a hand-picked group of beer experts and writers from Europe, Asia and USA. For the last two rounds, for the first time, we invited brewers to join the tasting panel to help us find the World’s Best.
