London, UK – March 25th, 2024 – The Five Points Group, the Hackney, East London-based independent craft brewery & pub company, has announced its trading results for 2023, along with expansion plans for 2024 and beyond.
Total consolidated net sales across the business were £4.68million for the year ending December 2023. Sales at the Brewing Company were up by 17% to £3.53million, while sales at their East London pub The Pembury Tavern were up by 23% to over £1million. Draft consolidated EBITDA for the Group was £297,000.
Founded 11 years ago, Five Points Brewing has emerged as one of the largest independent craft breweries in London, known for its range of award-winning beers and successful hospitality outlets.
Co-Founder and CEO Ed Mason said “Despite facing challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the cost of living and utilities crisis, Five Points Brewing has demonstrated resilience and achieved significant growth in 2023.”

The company views the expansion of its own pub estate as a crucial part of its growth strategy with The Pembury Tavern serving as a model for additional sites., providing a model for beer sales direct to the public, increased brew volumes, diversified routes to market, and a showcase for their beer range.
To support its growth and expansion plans, Five Points is launching a funding round, led by founder and existing investors. The campaign will raise investment for additional brewing capacity, production efficiencies, expansion of current Taproom & Courtyard premises, and the acquisition of new pub sites.
