FORGET LOW & NO… IT’S TIME FOR BIG & YES!

Any craft beer fans attempting Dry January will have a decent chance of making it through to February with the aid of a new ‘Try January’ selection box from alcohol-free brewer – Big Drop.

The selection box (24 x 330ml cans) introduces six of the most popular styles from Big Drop’s range – all of which are 0.5% abv and have amassed 50 international beer awards between them.  Half of them have won the top title of ‘World’s Best’ at the World Beer Awards – including Big Drop’s flagship ‘Pine Trail’ Pale Ale, which is the only AF beer to have earned the ultimate accolade twice. Not only that but four of the six have also achieved the Holy Grail of any AF drink: winning awards when blind-tasted against full-strength rivals. Big Drop’s ‘Paradiso’ Citra IPA, for example, was overall UK Winner in this year’s Speciality IPA category of the World Beer Awards, beating 6% abv beers into second and third place.*

Big Drop’s closely-guarded brewing techniques mean that it can fully-ferment its beer naturally, without it ever exceeding 0.5% abv, thus avoiding the need to artificially extract alcohol and altering the taste.

Nick Worthington, Commercial Director of Big Drop, commented: “We’re encouraging everyone to get out and try something new in January. To support this, we’re launching our Try Jan gift box which is for anyone looking to cut down, cut out or just looking for something new to try.”

Big Drop’s Try January selection box is available for £44 (free UK shipping on orders over £30). Buy one from Big Drop’s online shop and you can also choose to make a donation to Invisible Chips, the hospitality industry’s hardship fund. https://shop.bigdropbrew.com/.

About Big Drop Brewing Co: Big Drop was launched in 2016 as the world’s first brewer dedicated to alcohol-free beer by the-then City lawyer, Rob Fink and long-time friend James Kindred. Both had recently become fathers and were looking to cut back on the booze but could not find any decent alternatives to their favourite craft beers. Big Drop contract brews in batches through a network of brewing partners worldwide, meaning it can produce fresh beer – locally and ethically – with a minimal carbon footprint. Recognised as the market leader in the rapidly growing AF craft beer sector, Big Drop can now be found in over 10,000 locations – including throughout Europe, Australia, Canada and – soon to be – the US. In the UK, Big Drop has listings with major pub groups (eg Mitchells & Butlers), restaurant chains (eg Nando’s) and retailers (eg Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons and Ocado) as well as on the High Street with Holland & Barrett and on doorsteps with Milk & More. Its range of beers, which are all <0.5% abv, currently consists of: Stout, Lager, Pale Ale, IPA, Brown Ale, Golden Ale, Hazelnut Porter and a Sour as well as special editions and collaborations with other leading brewers.
