Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards 2023

The website is now open for entries.

The 11th annual Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards will open for entries from 1st December 2022 at 10am. The Awards, the most prestigious in their field, champion the achievements of the UK’s current and emerging writers, editors, publishers, photographers, broadcasters and personalities who encourage us to appreciate, explore, and experience more about food and drink through their work.

The shortlist and winners are selected by an independent panel of expert judges in 13 categories from work first published or transmitted in the UK or Republic or Ireland between 1 January and 31 December 2022.

The judges seek to reward work where a blend of strong professional skills and sound judgement provide a greater understanding and enjoyment of good food and drink. Inspiration, education and pleasure derived from the work are of equal value.

The Award winners will be announced on Thursday 11th May at a live celebration in London, hosted by Chef and Broadcaster, Andi Oliver, alongside Angela Hartnett OBE, the Chair of the Judging Panel.

“The country’s appetite for experiencing fine food and drink – whether it’s online, on TV or in print – is endless, largely due to the quality, originality and diversity of material that continues to be produced by an amazing talent of writers, publishers, broadcasters and photographers.
