Give up giving up this January: 100 customers offered a free cheeseburger and pint

Fuller’s is launching a new cheeseburger in its Craft pubs this January, and 100 customers have the chance to be the first to try it for free – with an accompanying pint of Verdant’s Lightbulb. On Wednesday 25 January from 5pm, the first 100 customers through the doors at The Hydrant [Equitable House, 1 Monument Street, London EC3R 8BG] will be able to enjoy the delicious new cheeseburger – and a pint – for free.

The cheeseburger is an homage to the American diner-style burger – comprising a beef patty topped with ketchup, mustard, diced onion, American cheese and crinkle cut gherkins. It will be available from Wednesday 25 January in Fuller’s 17 Craft pubs – which stretch from Birmingham to Brighton. Fuller’s Craft pubs serve an eclectic mix of beers – on draught, and in cans and bottles – with food menus based around sharers and bar snacks.

A free pint of Verdant’s Lightbulb [4.5% ABV] will be served with the 100 burgers given away on Wednesday 25 January at The Hydrant. Lightbulb is an extra pale ale with a biscuity malt base – brewed with a mix of European and American hops giving it a hint of sweetness.

Patrick Wagstaff, Fuller’s Deputy Operations Manager who has overseen the project, said: “I’m really excited to offer our customers the opportunity to try this tasty new burger for free. By 25 January, even the most determined abstainers are ready to break their New Year’s Resolutions, and we’ll be there for the most eager 100 people with a delicious free burger and pint in hand.”
