Gilroy’s Loft - named after the mastermind behind some of the most legendary Guinness campaigns, John Gilroy. With a horseshoe bar centrepiece, this space celebrates the best of Britain’s coast with a menu featuring line-caught fish and freshly shucked, native oysters, served in a stunning rooftop location with skyline views across London. Visitors will experience the very best of seasonal quality and British coastal character and will have the opportunity to sample the perfect pairing of Guinness and oysters, a much-loved speciality since 1837.

The Porter’s Table - paying homage to the hardworking porters of Covent Garden who moved goods through the markets, The Porter’s Table sharing menu is crafted for connection. It embodies Guinness’ ethos of goodness and community, and the time-honoured tradition of gathering around good food and a pint. With locally sourced ingredients at its heart, the menu spotlights the very best of British produce - with meat coming from trusted producers across the country and aged locally in West London, fish caught in British waters, and vegetables grown in London’s neighbouring counties.

At the heart of the Guinness Open Gate Brewery London is Old Brewer's Yard, a ground-level courtyard space that offers an escape from the bustling streets of Covent Garden, hosting the main bar and handmade pies by Chef Calum Franklin. Designed with community in mind, the area offers outside seating with no booking required, and will host events and pop-ups spanning arts, music and special cultural occasions.

About Guinness Open Gate Brewery London

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London is the latest in a line of current incarnation of Guinness experimental breweries going back to 1904. It's where our brewers are charged with exploring new ideas in beer that we can share in small batches in our tap room.

Impact Beyond the Brewery

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London is not just about exceptional drinks and experiences; the brand’s new home has been designed to make a meaningful contribution to the local community. The project will create up to 250 jobs and attract half a million visitors a year, delivering a significant economic boost for the area, supporting local jobs, and creating new opportunities for collaboration with businesses, cultural organisations, and community groups. The tour welcomes those aged 18+ and accommodates accessibility requirements.

Across the Guinness Open Gate Brewery London, several systems have been developed with a strong focus on sustainability. From the “Sustainability Hub” on the second floor which recycles water used in the brewing and the laboratory with a CO₂ recovery system on the third, to the glycol chiller and air compressor on the roof, each plays a role in reducing environmental impact. Together, these measures help the brewery achieve gold or platinum standard accreditation, making it world-leading in design, enhancing biodiversity in Covent Garden, and continually challenging itself to be as sustainable as possible.
