Are you two to three years into your career and thinking about management positions? If so you may be interested in the NCTJ level 7 Leadership and Management for Journalists qualification to support you taking the next step.

The qualification is designed for those looking to grow confidence and learn how to best manage and develop their teams effectively. Although developed for journalists, modules cover how to apply ‘soft’ skills, understanding strategy, managing difficult conversations, motivating the team, performance management and workplace wellbeing, applicable across industries.

You can either study as a whole course to gain a qualification, or the modules can be purchased individually. If you think this would benefit you, or anyone in your team, please do get in touch or visit the website for more information.

The NCTJ can also support individuals through CPD courses (e-learning and masterclasses) or through bespoke team sessions.
