Gweilo Beer launches Four Limited Batch beers in time for Xmas

Ahead of the recently-announced UK Core Beer launch in January 2021, Hong Kong brewery Gweilo Beer has released four Limited Batch beers for the UK market this Xmas.

The beers have been brewed at Fierce Beer in Scotland and will be on sale exclusively from Monday 14th December at 2pm via the Fierce Aberdeen and Fierce Edinburgh bars. General release is Tuesday 15th December from 12 noon, when the beers will be available via the brand new Gweilo Beer UK online store, as well as being stocked in selected pubs and bars across the UK later this week.

Co-founder Ian Jebbitt says “We wanted to give every beer lover something to smile about this Christmas, so decided to launch our first four Limited Edition beers a bit earlier than planned. They have been brewed by our friends at Fierce who we import into Hong Kong, and they are banging beers. The two Game Series labels will also help keep people entertained at home, too!”.

SEEKER DIPA

GAME SERIES

Seeker DIPA showcases two super tasty hops; Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy. Bold aromas of gooseberry and peach lead to notes of citrus and passionfruit. This is one hell of a hefty, hazy brew.
ABV 8.5%  •  IBU 15

SUDOKU GOLDEN STOUT

GAME SERIES

Sudoku Golden Stout is a decadent delight. Sweet notes of chocolate and vanilla are balanced with a late addition of coffee. Roasted malt flavours pop from the mystifyingly light body, adding depth and flavour throughout the profile.
ABV 6%  •  IBU 22

HOP KONG NEIPA

COLLABORATION WITH BEHEMOTH

Brewed originally with our friends at Behemoth Brewing Company in New Zealand, Hop Kong is an extravagantly juicy session NEIPA. With a generous dry hop of 15g/L, Motueka, Citra and Mosaic combine to create a seriously intense aroma. Gently roll cans before opening, store cold and drink fresh to ensure maximum juiciness.
ABV 4.9%  •  IBU 25

FOR FIG SAKE! STOUT

LIMITED BATCH

For Fig Sake! is a sumptuous, fruity stout. A hefty dose of fig purée in the boil unleashes decadent notes of honey, berries and muscovado sugar. This is balanced by an addition of cacao nibs during fermentation, delivering a nutty, caramel finish.

ABV 8%  •  IBU 56
