Half-Million Pound Investment in The Oak Tree, Norwich

The Oak Tree, Norwich has opened its doors to guests once more, following a £500,000 investment. The fresh, new look for The Oak Tree marks a new chapter in the pub’s history and sees ten jobs created in the local community.

After a short closure, The Oak Tree reopens with a brand new, delicious menu. There is something to delight every day of the week with traditional afternoon tea available daily between 12:30 and 4:30pm. On Sundays, The Oak Tree is now serving Sunday roasts with all the trimmings and bottomless Yorkshire puddings. Food is served from 10am to 9pm daily, making The Oak Tree the perfect place to pop in for lunch or dinner any day of the week.

The Oak Tree is also the perfect place to enjoy your favourite sporting event with both Sky and BT Sports available across five large TV screens in their comfortable bar area. The pub has an extensive drinks menu which includes a selection of ales and a Gin of the Month special to enjoy in front of the wood burning stove in a cosy wingback armchair.

The new look Oak Tree has a modern-rustic feel with bags of character. From quiet, secluded nooks to the light and airy conservatory and buzzing bar area, there is the perfect spot for every visit. Personal touches can be found everywhere you look, whether it is a quirky feature wall or the eclectic collection of tableware and furniture; perfectly curated to ensure both form and function are top priority. As Christmas approaches, the cosy-factor has been dialled up to 100 with twinkling lights and festive touches at every turn.

The Oak Tree has a generous garden area and, despite the chilly weather, this has been given the same expert treatment. From traditional picnic benches to umbrella-shaded tables and heated, enclosed areas for the brave on those clear winter days. Festooned with lights, the garden looks quite magical at night. There really is no reason to wait until summer to enjoy.

Miranda and Andrew, General Managers of The Oak Tree, said: “We are so excited about the future of The Oak Tree. The team love the pub’s new look and can’t wait to show people around every time a new visitor walks in the door. The new menu is delicious and truly has something for everybody.

“It is a new chapter and we cannot wait to see The Oak Tree go from strength to strength. We are delighted to welcome guests, events and the local community again.”

The Oak Tree reopens at the perfect time for the run up to Christmas and the party season. Whatever the occasion, The Oak Tree team guarantee excellent service, delicious food and a wide range of fabulous drinks. Their delicious Christmas buffet and set menus have something tempting for every taste from traditional turkey to flavour-filled vegan options and crowd-pleasers for the children. Their afternoon tea even gets a festive twist. The Oak Tree is open for both Christmas Day and Boxing Day lunch, so is the perfect place to escape the cooking this year.
