HDi relaunches Hotspot platform

HDi the hospitality insight experts has relaunched its online platform Hotspot adding new reporting features and data mapping options.

The HDi Hotspot platform was first launched in the summer of 2020 providing an online insights platform for subscribers across the pub, restaurant and QSR sectors.  The platform is built around actual up-to-date customer spend data coming from almost 2.5 billion debit and credit card transactions made across all areas of UK hospitality.  Subscribers use the platform to track the performance of individual competitors, to follow customer spending patterns and to view sales information from almost 180,000 individual UK hospitality sites.

The new features include the addition of extra operators, more user friendly dashboards, new style mapping and an extra module focused upon customer retention.

Speaking about Hotspot 2.0, managing director for HDi, Darroch Bagshaw said, “HotSpot version 1 has been great – we’ve got over 150 people accessing unique insight through the platform and between them they’ve now generated over 47,000 reports. These additional features are going to make the platform even better – they’ll not only provide extra insights to stay ahead of the competition but they’ll also make it easier to assess the information available”.
