Independent Siren Craft Brew, based in Berkshire, reveals Soundwave: First Hunt, a flavoursome IPA to celebrate the release of 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands, which is in cinemas November 7.
The beer is a special edition of the brewery’s flagship Soundwave IPA, made unique by the addition of technologically advanced hop products, and a tropical profile designed to make it the perfect accompaniment to watching a movie.
The beer takes its name from the “First Hunt. Last Chance” tagline of the movie, while Siren’s Soundwave IPA was seen as the perfect fit for the theme. It’s considered the ‘huntress’ of the brewery’s flagship range, designed to win the hearts and minds of drinkers. The brand draws from Siren mythology in various depictions, from Harpy-like birds of prey to enchanting creatures with their irresistible songs.
Darron Anley, Siren Craft Brew Founder, said:
“We jumped at the chance to join the Predator: Badlands campaign. Our team have loved this franchise from the ’80s through to Dan Trachtenberg's incredible Prey, so it’s been a privilege to design a beer inspired by the new movie.”
Andy Nowlan, Siren Craft Brew Head of Marketing, added:
“Soundwave: First Hunt brings our flagship beer to a whole new audience. For the first time ever, our Siren is replaced by a bespoke Predator-inspired illustration, with our protagonist front and centre. At an approachable 5% abv and waves of hop additions, it's an adventure of flavour that can be enjoyed in pubs, bars, restaurants and cinemas alike.”
Soundwave: First Hunt IPA is available now in 440ml cans and branded gift packs from sirencraftbrew.com and Siren venues. It is also available either in cans, or on tap, with selected partners including MEATliquor, Brewhouse & Kitchen, The Light Cinemas and other independent on-trade and off-trade locations.
