Joule’s Brewery is thrilled to announce BrewFest, a sensational two-weekend music festival showcasing the best live music, sponsored by the iconic Joules Brewery Green Monkey Lager.
Hosted at the Red Lion, Joule’s Brewery’s flagship pub located at The Brewery’s home in Market Drayton, the event promises to be a sensational free to attend two-weekend music festival. An unforgettable celebration of community, culture, and craftsmanship.
The festival will kick off with a ‘Warm Up Weekend’ on May 4th and 5th, followed by the main event on May 25th and 26th, 2024. BrewFest promises an electrifying line-up of the best local musical talent that will keep audiences on their feet throughout both weekends. The ‘Warm Up Weekend’ will feature performances by TNT, Sam Morgan, The Unlawful Men, and The Ronaldos, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. As anticipation builds, BrewFest Weekend will take the excitement to new heights with performances by Delta Aces, Lotus Motion, JMD, Si Alton, Doctor’s Orders, The Jooks, Nibbs & Chrisbee, and The June Collins Band, with more acts still to be announced!
Trevor Dawson, General Manager at The Red Lion says ‘There is a passion and precedent for live music in Market Drayton, formerly the home of the Rock & Bowl festival which was sponsored by Joules Brewery, and this year we’re proud to be hosting our very own free to attend music festival in the grounds of The Red Lion & Brewery, before we commence our development plans at the Stag, Brewery and Red Lion. The Stag will include an events venue for all occasions and will also provide the new space for the Drayton Civic Society & Market Drayton Museum.
The Red Lion hosts live music every Friday with the extremely popular ‘Live at The Lion’ sessions, this year we’re extending this to include additional extra special dates throughout the summer and of course, the two free BrewFest live music events across the May Bank Holiday weekends’
A highlight of BrewFest Weekend will be the special appearance of Joule’s Brewery’s iconic Green Monkey Bus, which will be serving up Green Monkey Lager straight from the tank. Connected directly to the brewery tanks, festival-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy Green Monkey Lager in its freshest form, with its signature crisp flavour and delicate bubbles.
BrewFest proudly boasts the biggest free music festival and a celebration of the craft brewing culture. Attendees can expect an array of cold craft beers on tap, tantalizing street food, and the chance to experience the unique taste of Green Monkey Lager first hand. As advocates of craft brewing, Joule’s Brewery prides itself on delivering flavoursome, individually crafted beers using only the finest ingredients – malt, hops, yeast, and pure mineral water sourced from the Triassic Aquifer that sits below the Brewery in Market Drayton.
Green Monkey Lager is a testament to Joule’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Brewed with care and attention to detail, Green Monkey Lager is never pasteurized or artificially carbonated, ensuring a brewery-fresh taste with every sip. Its clean and fruity profile, complemented by a good bitter-sweet taste, is achieved through a meticulous brewing process that includes laagering for up to four weeks. With no artificial ingredients, preservatives, or additives, Green Monkey Lager is the epitome of purity and taste.
To enhance the BrewFest experience, exclusive offers will be available at the event. Don’t miss your chance to experience the ultimate fusion of craft beer and live music at BrewFest, brought to you by Joule’s Brewery and sponsored by Green Monkey Lager.
