Let the ‘Season of Mischief’ Commence!

So the countdown has begun to the scariest season of them all – Halloween. This year is no different and the legendary Hobgoblin is unleashing its unique ‘Season of Mischief’ for its eighth year as the ‘Unofficial Beer of Halloween’.

Limited edition ‘Season of Mischief’ promotional bottles of Hobgoblin have hit the shelves already in the run up to Halloween and Hobgoblin fans up and down the country will be supping the ruby ale to toast the third biggest retailing occasion of the year.

Hobgoblin is a full-bodied ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity, mischievous character – making it a perfect accompaniment to a spooky Halloween evening.

Competitions & Giveaways

Hobgoblin’s ‘Cauldron of Cash’ giveaway is back, giving fans the chance to win a top prize of £5,000 or stacks of instant win prizes each day. Those not lucky enough to win a daily prize will receive a £5 off voucher, which will come in handy for purchasing the limited edition Hobgoblin Halloween t-shirt in the Wychwood Store hosted at www.wychwood.co.uk.

If that’s not enough, Hobgoblin is causing extra mischief online with its free to enter ‘mad-vent calendar’ application on Facebook. By visiting Hobgoblin’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hobgoblin_beer fans have the chance to win instant prizes every day as well as taking part in five fun Halloween challenges such as: uploading your evil laugh online, pumpkin carving and the final week has a smashing pumpkin challenge!

It’s time to get Mischievous

Wychwood marketing manager, Chris Keating said: “It’s our eighth consecutive year as the ‘Unofficial Beer of Halloween’. We have created a demand for the beer over the ‘Season of Mischief’ and consumers expect to see the Hobgoblin wreaking havoc throughout October.”

Hobgoblin will also be served at the annual ‘Lighting of the Pumpkins’ at the Wychwood Brewery on 31st October and the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) London Harvest Festival show 8th / 9th October which has an infamous giant pumpkin competition.

If you can’t attend any Halloween events then why not spice up your party with a Cauldron of Hobgoblin Stew, Hobgoblin flavoured bangers and mash, or a Hobgoblin steak & ale pie?
