Following a glorious summer, Flack Manor Brewery of Romsey are encouraging real ale fans to embrace the autumnal nights and snuggle into a light hearted online competition. The Brewery have written an E-book and devised a short questionnaire on the history of brewing in the market town of Romsey and surrounding area.
It’s easy to enter; simply go to the Flack Manor Brewery Blog http://goo.gl/CCRSoi or their Facebook page and download the first of four E-books entitled ‘Life, the universe and everything brewing’. You will also find a short survey which is the ‘real’ beginning of the competition entry (where we can learn just a little about you) and the competition questionnaire – just 10 fun questions on the E-book. There are 4 competitions in total, with brewing related merchandise and products for winning at each stage, with the ultimate draw for those completing all 4 brewing E-books.
As Flack Manor Brewery is a Hampshire based brewery, we will have to restrict entries to those surrounding counties only.

Flack Manor Brewery was set up in December 2009, with the aim of bringing quality cask brewing back to Romsey using the traditional and almost unique method of Double Dropping. Following the success of their first beer ‘Double Drop’, Flack Manor Brewery has since launched two new beers – Flack Catcher and the award winning Black Jack Porter.
Flack Manor Brewery’s cask ale and bottled beer can be found in pub and club outlets in and around Hampshire and surrounding counties as well as in their brewery shop – The Flak Shack. You can also find them at beer festivals throughout the region.
