LONDON CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL RETURNS TO CAPITAL WITH BEST-EVER BEER, MUSIC AND FOOD LINE UP

(L-R: Founders of We Are Beer and London Craft Beer Festival, Dan Sylvester and Greg Wells outside the gates of Tobacco Dock)

London Craft Beer Festival is returning to the capital with its biggest and best line-up yet.

Famous for incredible food, brilliant beats, and – of course – a world-class roster of international and home-grown brewing talent, the three-day long celebration of all things craft descends on the city from the 3rd to 5th of August.

Over 65 hand-picked brewers, representing only the very best from all over the world, will be in attendance at the festival – such as UK favourites Beavertown and Cloudwater, Danish mavericks Mikkeller, and innovative state-side brewer Stillwater Artisanal, will be pouring their wares for thirsty Londoners.

For three days, the iconic Tobacco Dock will become the centre of the modern beer world, drawing in thousands of festival goers, beer fans and food and drink lovers.

For those who are into their traditional brewing methods and London beer heritage, the Fuller’s Cask Yard is an essential part of the festival – offering a dedicated space for any curious attendees to try a wealth of brilliant cask beers.

Priding itself on showcasing the very best of the international brewing community, London Craft Beer Festival are also delighted to be introducing breweries that have never before been tasted in the UK.

Polish newcomers Browar Artezan and Pracownia Piwa will rub shoulders with four UK winners of the first-ever ‘Raise the Bar’ competition, hosted by the festival organisers, We Are Beer. The initiative seeks to find new, up-coming brewers in a bid to champion new talent.

A fantastic Summer music mash-up sees Huey Morgan of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, cult Northern Irish band Two Door Cinema Club, and the infamous Hercules & Love Affair take to the decks amongst others.

This blistering line-up also sees London favourites, Hip Hop Karaoke, and Sheffield’s Toddla T join some of the most influential members of the modern music scene as they all come together under one roof for the first time.

An impressive array of London’s hottest restaurants will be taking up residence for the weekend – festival goers can look forward to Berber and Q’s signature smoked shawarma and Luca, of The Clove Club fame, will be serving up their carefully sourced British fare with an Italian twist. Sri Lankan stars, Hoppers, will also be present – bringing rich kari, delicious dosa and their namesake – hoppers – to the party.

Greg Wells, co-founder of We Are Beer, the team behind London Craft Beer Festival said:

“London Craft Beer Festival is a great celebration not just of the international brewing scene, the fantastic restaurants in residence, or the unique DJ line-up, but also of our beloved city.

Londoners know great beer – and demand for the very best producers grows every week. It’s incredibly exciting to be bringing our handpicked ‘best of the best’ international and British brewers back to the capital for the sixth year in a row.”
