London’s Biggest Beer Celebration Returns – 15 Years in the Making

ree

This September, The London Brewers’ Alliance is teaming up with Bird House Brewery in the heart of Herne Hill to showcase the very best beer London has to offer alongside incredible food, live entertainment, DJs and dancing.

This festival marks the 15th anniversary of the LBA, now a vibrant collective of over 70 breweries, and is a celebration of the UK’s flourishing and exciting beer culture, with the LBA proudly at the heart of it.

Enjoy over 60 taps of London-brewed beer across four days, featuring 50 guest lines from London Brewers’ Alliance member breweries alongside Bird House Brewery favourites. Wander through the arches of Bird House Brewery, from the taproom and brewhouse to the event space and kitchen, and discover an amazing range of beer styles, from easy-drinking lagers to bold IPAs, rich stouts, and more!

Bird House is teaming up with the talented culinary duo Ed & Ed from the renowned Kitchen 94 to serve an outrageously tasty menu straight from the open-fire BBQ grill, with other food options including stone baked sourdough pizzas, Italian style bites and oysters. Freshly made cocktails, seasonal wines and spirits will also be available for those wanting to switch it up!

Live entertainment will take place in the garden and a roster of DJs will be getting you moving and grooving into the later hours.

Whether you’re a hop head, a lager lover, or just here for the party, the LBA Beer Festival 2025 promises four days of unforgettable beer, food, and music and you’ll want to say you were there when London’s brewing scene turned 15!

About Bird House Brewery

Bird House Brewery, an independent brewery in Herne Hill, was launched in March 2024 by the team behind The Hawk’s Nest and Peckham Arches. From the start, Bird House has focused on crafting delicious seasonal beers that are sold across all three venues. Over the course of this year, the site has grown from a small brewery into a vibrant 600-capacity taproom and event space, welcoming visitors from across London. While producing exceptional beer remains at the heart of Bird House, the venue places a large focus on bringing the local community together through an array of events, collaborations and a wide range of delicious seasonal food and drink.

About the London Brewers’ Alliance

Formed in 2010 by a small group of passionate brewers, the London Brewers’ Alliance (LBA) unites and champions the city’s vibrant brewing community within the M25. Born from London’s centuries-old brewing heritage (once home to the world’s largest breweries and the birthplace of porter and IPA ) the LBA exists to promote brewing excellence, foster collaboration, and showcase the capital’s beers to the world. From its first pioneering multi-brewery collaboration and the inaugural London Brewers’ Showcase to today’s membership of over 80 breweries and numerous trade partners, the Alliance has grown into a driving force for quality, education, and community. With training programmes, social events, and its flagship festival, the LBA not only celebrates the creativity and skill of London brewers but also ensures their voice is heard, keeping the city’s rich brewing legacy alive while inspiring its future
