London’s Pride is now clear for take off

Fuller, Smith and Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company is proud to introduce its first air-side pub: London’s Pride.

Two years in the making, this new pub at London Heathrow Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal covers 5,000 square feet and can accommodate 200 customers. Divided into different areas, guests can relax with a drink, recharge their laptops, download their emails and even buy a book while they wait for their flight to depart. The open kitchen gives customers an opportunity to watch the chefs prepare delicious, fresh food including the Fuller’s Full English breakfast which uses Sandridge farm bacon from pigs that have been reared on spelt, hops and grain from brewing London Pride. There is also a section for ‘grab and fly’ that will sell hot and cold food to take away and will stock Fuller’s merchandise for purchase.

London’s Pride is modern in style, but draws on the traditions and themes of the brewery’s longstanding history and values. The founding members of the Fuller, Smith and Turner partnership are pictured on the wall by the bar together with a timeline detailing significant points in Fuller’s history. Moreover, there is wall art dedicated to the oldest wisteria in the UK that has been growing on the brewery grounds since the early 19th Century.

It is not just the unique style of the pub that sets it apart. It also has an exclusive beer called Wingman. This light, golden beer is made with the finest English malt and hops, perfectly balanced by an abundance of fruit character for a satisfying, refreshing taste. London’s Pride is also the first retailer in the airport to sell Willies Cacao from the UK’s only ‘bean to bar’ premium chocolate maker.

Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director of Fuller’s Inns, said: “London’s Pride is in a league of its own and we are incredibly proud to have this as the latest addition to the Fuller’s estate. It is set to be one of our flagship pubs and it is very exciting to see Fuller’s on an international platform.

Located just 8.3 miles away from Fuller’s home in Chiswick, London’s Pride opens today [4 June 2014].
