Love Lane Brewing scoops TWO gongs at SIBA National Independent Beer Awards 2019

Love Lane beers took home a Gold and a Bronze in the at the SIBA National Independent Beer Awards, which took place at BeerX in Liverpool last week.

Love Lane Pale Ale and Love Lane’s IPA Series Double Dry Hopped IPA both won gold in their respective categories in the regional north west award. Both then went onto the national competition. The Double Dry Hopped IPA won gold in the National Keg IPA competition. Love Lane Pale Ale won bronze in the pale ale category.

Stephen Crawley, Founder and Chief Executive, said, “We are delighted for everyone at Love Lane Brewing, but especially the brewers. Commissioning a brewery and winning awards within 12 months is testament to their experience and passion for Love Lane Beers”.

Judges had a tough job separating the pack as the standard was extremely high once again. The winners from the SIBA competition are officially the best independent craft beers in the UK, something brewers should be extremely proud ofsaid Ian Fozard, SIBA Chairman.

The SIBA National Independent Beer Awards judged a huge range of beers across a number of styles in separate cask, keg and bottle & can competitions and are judged by brewers, industry experts and beer journalists.

Love Lane Brewing is based in the heart of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, voted the “coolest” district in the UK. In 2016, it began the transformation of their Liverpool base, renovating an old rubber factory into a 18,000 Hectolitre Brewery, capable of brewing 3.2 million pints.

Love Lane Pale Ale is a core beer produced by Love Lane Brewing. It is available in bars, pubs and restaurants in the North West. Love Lane Double Dry Hopped IPA will now become a core beer for the rest of 2019. Prior to the award LL DDH IPA was guest keg beer that had poured in 30 outlets in the region. It is however is permanently available at Love Lane Brewery, Bar & Kitchen.
