Brussels Beer Project Weekend Tap Takeover & Tutored Tasting 18 May 2018 17:00 We’re delighted to announce a weekend tap takeover of epic proportions with Belgium’s Brussels Beer Project. We’ve invited the brewery to join us as we serve up TEN of their marvellous beers from the 18th – 20th May. The ethos behind the Brussels Beer Project is simple: they’re a collaborative effort that uses co-creation to breathe some life into the traditional beer scene in Belgium. They’re producing wildly innovative renditions of styles and making beer that people want to drink right now. The team from BBP have agreed to conduct a tutored tasting for us on Friday, May 18th, so join us for a very special session between 7pm-8:30pm. Signature Brew Tap Takeover Weekend and Tutored Tasting 25 May 2018 17:00 For the second May bank holiday weekend, we’re teaming up with the awesome Signature Brew crew to bring excellent beer and fantastic vibes to the bar. Join us between Friday the 25th and Monday the 28th May for a Signature Brew tap takeover. We’ll have 7 of their beers on tap to keep you refreshed throughout the long weekend. We’ve done our bit, so let’s hope the sun cooperates! On Friday May 25th, we’ll also have the Signature Brew team down at the bar for a tutored tasting session from 7pm. Tickets are £10 and include 5 tasters of beer and the company (and educated insight) of the brewery. Tickets are limited, so grab yours now. In addition to the tutored tasting, we’re handing over the decks to the Signature Brew team on Friday night for a DJ session, so pop in for a mix of great tunes to complement your beer! Beer & Cheese: A Nightlong Celebration of Farmhouse Beers & Cheeses 31 May 2018 17:00 Join us on Thursday, May 31st from 5pm for a very special gathering of farmhouse beer and farmhouse cheese. We’re being joined by the elusive Dark Knight of Cholesterol himself (of Raw Cheese Power fame) for an entire evening of beer and cheese pairing. Farmhouse cheeses and beers share certain rustic qualities, including barnyard, earthiness and funkiness. It might not sound tasty, but it is. Trust us. Get your £15 ticket in advance and join us at your leisure from 5pm-10:00pm for a platter of three cheeses paired with three 1/3rd servings of beers from The Little Earth Project. You’ll hear about the cheeses and be given a tasting booklet to peruse as you tuck in. Cheese will also be sold on the night for you to take away and enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
