A unique chance for Guild members to meet the now disbanded CAMRA Revitalisation Committee and to challenge Chairman Michael Hardman and his colleagues on their research, the process and the report.
The event is being held:
On: Monday 30 January
From: 6.00 – 8.00 pm
At: The Old Doctor Butler’s Head, close by the Guildhall in the City of London. Thanks to Shepherd Neame, who will also be providing beer for the event. http://www.olddoctorbutlershead.co.uk/
The Committee was formed under the chairmanship of CAMRA founder Michael Hardman to undertake a substantial research project on possible changes to CAMRA’s future direction, and to report to the CAMRA National Executive. It completed and presented its report in December, at which point its work was done. Many Guild members have been writing about the project but there has been no opportunity to talk to the Committee. By bringing most of the members together for a final time, this Guild event will rectify that omission.
Addressing the event will be:
Michael Hardman (chair)
Angela Aspin
James Lynch
Ben Wilkinson
Joni Tyler
Robert Humphreys
Emily Ryans (project manager)
The event is free of charge to all Guild members, but please let us know if you plan to attend by RSVP to secretary@beerguild.co.uk
