Natalya Watson – a beer educator, Beer Sommelier and Advanced Cicerone® – is launching a NEW online training programme, Virtual Beer School, on September 3rd 2020.
Virtual Beer School is a 12-session interactive online prep course for the Cicerone® Certified Beer Server exam.
“After running a free ‘lockdown beer school’ session every Thursday evening from May through August 2020, I decided to launch a more formal, paid-for programme to give attendees an opportunity to not only learn more about beer’s fundamentals, but to show what they know,” Natalya said.
According to the Cicerone® Certification Program – the certification body for beer professionals – the Certified Beer Server exam is an opportunity to “demonstrate your mastery of the fundamentals of beer service, styles and flavour.”
Each week, Natalya will lead a live, interactive online session covering a different subject area from the Certified Beer Server exam syllabus. Prior to each session, relevant pre-reading will be sent out to all attendees. The first hour of the live session will be a lesson, followed by half an hour of questions and discussion.
After 12 sessions, attendees will be prepared to take the Certified Beer Server exam, if interested. (There is no requirement to take the exam.)
Virtual Beer School is open to anyone, around the world, with an interest building up their beer knowledge.
When: The live sessions will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:30pm BST (UK time). The first session will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2020.

How: The course costs £25/month or £75 in total. (Please note: This does not include the cost of the exam.)
