Britain’s original Beer Week – now Month – beckons every Guild member to Norwich for this year’s Festival.
It runs 25th May to 25th June and, as ever around 50 pubs and over 30 breweries will be involved. The 7 ale trails will take you through the city’s winding lanes, into the market place, alongside the river, past historic buildings, and into the most fantastic pubs. Here you will receive a warm welcome – and the opportunity to taste magnificent beers from the region’s exceptional brewers, mostly made using the famous locally grown and malted barley.
More news will follow about the Beer City Twinning, initiated by venerable beer writer Roger Protz, between the great beer cities of Leuven and Norwich.
In the meantime, Guild members who would like an invitation to the trade session of the City of Ale Launch Party on Thursday 25th May, please contact Guild member Frances Brace (frances@redflamecommunications.co.uk) or Laura Watson (laura@redflamecommunications.co.uk).
