Before professional rugby player Greg Bateman created People’s Captain, he had a life-saving beer with a best mate. Over a humble pint, Greg opened up about his struggle with mental health.
Realising how important this pint was to improving his wellbeing and seeking help, Greg turned his craft beer brewing hobby into a mental health initiative. Greg set up People’s Captain with two close mates, and through the sales of their beers, they raise money for Britain’s mental health charities across the UK via The People’s Captain Foundation.
